What we collect
- Quote form: your name, phone number, email (optional), the postcodes you move from and to, your move date, the size of your move and any access details you choose to give.
- Live chat: the messages you write, and any name, phone number or email you share in the chat.
- Calls and WhatsApp: the details you give us when you contact us.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details, which our hosting and chat tools receive automatically when you use the page.
Why we use it
- To prepare and send your quote and to contact you about your move. This is needed to take steps at your request.
- To answer your questions in the chat and by phone or WhatsApp.
- To keep the page and our systems secure and to prevent spam. We do this because it is in our legitimate interests.
- To keep records of enquiries and bookings.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising on this page.
Our chat assistant
Our live chat is first answered by an automated assistant that uses artificial intelligence. It helps with simple questions and collects details for your quote. It cannot confirm a booking. A member of the Mooveto team takes over when needed and can read the conversation. Please do not share card or bank details in the chat.
Who receives your information
We use trusted service providers to run our business: our live chat and customer-management system, our email and spreadsheet tools, our automation and hosting providers, and the provider of the AI model behind the chat assistant. They only process your information on our behalf. Some of them are based outside the UK; where that happens we use appropriate safeguards. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to keep our business and accounting records, and then we delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. To do any of this, email info@mooveto.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
